Coir pith, a spongy substance that binds the coconut fiber in the husk, is exploring different purposes. It is a great soil conditioner and is often utilized as a soil-less medium in agri-horticultural applications. Coir pith is perfect for growing anthuriums and orchids due to its moisture retention properties. It is available in raw or converted organic manure form. Coir pith exporters in Tuticorin exports the premium quality coir pith on a global level. Brown coir pith is produced by ripe, mature coconuts, and white coir pith is produced by younger, immature coconuts. The waste from coir fiber is washed, cleaned, dried, and sorted to make coir pith.
The initial step in the manufacturing process of Coir pith is to obtain freshwater farmed coconut husks. The curing of coconut husks typically takes 6 weeks, after which the coconut fibers are separated and graded separately. Jeevasri Exports is a well-known and highly regarded coir pith exporters in Tuticorin. The top-grade coco pith is then left on a clean, weed-free cement floor for roughly 18 months, during which time the monsoon rain washes away excess salts from the coco pith, making the coco pith pH neutral. To attain the proper pH and electric conductivity, the coco pith is also rinsed in fresh water.
