Sam Lee Talks About the Ways to Improve Hospital Management

Los Angeles, CA (June 14, 2022) – One of the most significant barriers to providing patient-centered care in the workplace is each employee’s belief that it is someone else’s responsibility. The front desk personnel believe it is the floor nurses’ job. To be successful, however, patient-centered care requires everyone to assume full responsibility. Everyone plays a critical role, from treating patients with kindness and respect to ensuring that all needs are satisfied prior to release.

Because employees labor, practically every organization in every field set goals for them. Staff members are motivated by goals, both individually and as a group. Individuals who are goal-oriented abound in hospitals. After all, in order to work in the healthcare industry, hospitals must meet a number of requirements.

Sam Lee Says, ‘Rewards, in addition to defining goals, are an effective motivator. When an employee sees others receiving praise, he feels compelled to work even harder to earn his own. Make an example of a staff who consistently meets goals, receives praise from patients and their families, provides genuine emotional support, prioritizes patient comfort, and ensures they are thoroughly educated before leaving the hospital.’

He further adds, ‘Making new procedures simple to understand is the greatest approach to ensure that your medical staff follows them. Write down procedures and concrete examples of how to implement the pillars of patient-centered care, such as incorporating the patient’s approved family in decision-making, prioritizing physical comfort, and educating the patient. Most crucial, make sure that everyone gets the opportunity to ask questions so that any misconceptions may be promptly resolved.‘

In patient-centered care, patient advocates thrive. Their sole objective is to ensure that patients receive the treatment they require, thus they devote a significant amount of time to listening to patient concerns. Cooperating with these professionals will provide you with access to viewpoints and feelings that you would not otherwise have access to. You may help make a genuine difference by taking this input and applying it to the procedural changes.
