Senior Manager (Automotive/Mobility) – Research/Consulting – Mumbai – (5 – 8 years)

Location: Mumbai (On-site)

Looking out for a professional from a research or a consulting background having 5 to 8 years of experience in automotive or mobility segment (alternate fuels, electric vehicles etc).

You will be responsible for carrying out primary and secondary research, competitive benchmarking, market analysis as well as making recommendations basis trend analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out primary and secondary research in the automotive segment.
2. Analyzing the market scenario, regulatory and technological landscapes and suggest recommendations basis the analysis.
3. Identifying the potential markets and factors affecting the product demand by analyzing the customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits.
4. Developing forecasting methods by analyzing the current research and statistical techniques.
5. Preparing reports and suggesting recommendations to a wide range of clients.
6. Ensuring compliance to regulatory and other best practices.
7. Preparing ad-hoc analytical reports for the purpose of senior management and/or for external agencies.

Requirements:

1. Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a leading institute with 2+ years of work experience either in a research or a consulting set-up.
2. Strong domain knowledge of auto/auto components segment and specifically new trends like electric vehicles or other alternate fuels.
3. Strong analytical inclination.
4. Strong understanding of automotive and mobility market.
5. Fluency with statistical techniques used for modelling.
6. Prior team handling experience preferred.
