Warcraft Arclight Rumble Accused of Being a Clash of Clans Knockoff
Blizzard Entertainment’s upcoming mobile title, Warcraft Arclight Rumble, has already been deemed an Clash of Clans knockoff in certain circles. A hint of a Warcraft-branded mobile game surfaced earlier in the year, courtesy of a report from Journalist Jason Schreier that claimed such game will launch in 2022. Blizzard then confirmed plans to share concrete details regarding the mobile game in May.
This doesn’t represent Blizzard Entertainment’s first foray into mobile gaming. For instance, the developer and publisher have made a splash when they put out the game for collectible cards that is free to play Hearthstone that further opened up the world of Warcraft available on PC, Mac, Android, and iOS platforms. Furthermore, Diablo Immortal serves as the company’s next major release since the free-to-play action RPG will land on mobile devices and PC this June.

Viewers have noted one thinghowever – this forthcoming Warcraft experience appears to have some similarities to Clash Royale and Clash of Clans. YouTube comments beneath the gameplay trailer draw comparisons to the Supercell-developed games, as an example. And Reddit user Saerjin began a thread asking if anyone else had noticed an Clash of Clans influence. Many responses were similar to Warcraft Arclight Rumble to Clash Royale specifically.
