Types of permits to enter the country
There are three types of visa permits in the Kingdom:
Tourist transit non-immigrant (study, business visits, participation in seminars and conferences, treatment, contract work from the Thai state, treatment, etc.)
For an entertaining trip, you should arrange the first option. There are two ways to get a visa to Thailand – to apply for a pre-trip or get directly at the Bangkok airport upon arrival. To obtain permission to enter for tourism (TR visa category) or medical examination (MT), the applicant must prepare the following package of papers:
foreign passport with a validity period that is longer than the proposed trip for six months and with free pages
application form completed by the applicant in English and with his signature
2 color photos in size 4×6
for pensioners – a copy of the pension, for students – a certificate from the place of study, for working citizens – from the place of work with an indication of salary
confirmation of flight tickets and host hotel reservations
confirmation of financial security (at least $ 650-700 per person and at least $ 1300-1500 per family)
for those who do not travel at their own expense – a confirmation letter from the travel guarantor with a package of documents
